The visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Russia has ended

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has completed an official visit to the Russian Federation and left for Tashkent. 

At the airport, the distinguished guest was conducted by the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov and other officials.

During the meetings with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, topical issues of further strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership were thoroughly discussed
and alliance, expansion of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in trade and economic, investment, energy, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres and other priority areas.

The leader of Uzbekistan also held talks with the Chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Mishustin and the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

On the eve and during the visit, a number of important events took place, including the fourth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government, the Interregional Conference of Rectors of universities of Uzbekistan and Russia, the third Forum of Interregional Cooperation, the opening of the pavilion "Uzbekistan" at the All-Russian Exhibition Center, meetings of the subcommissions of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation and others.

In addition, the President of Uzbekistan, together with the Presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, took part in the ceremony of launching the supply of Russian natural gas to our country.
