Following the talks, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin adopted a joint statement on deepening relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
In the presence of the heads of state, 10 documents adopted between the governments and ministries of the two countries were exchanged. These include agreements
on the establishment of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the city of Samarkand, mutual recognition of the relevant institutions of the authorized economic operator, the implementation of the Agroexpress high-speed rail transportation project, the Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2024-2025, as well as a number of documents on cooperation in the fields of transport, science, education and culture.
These agreements will contribute to the deepening of practical cooperation in a number of promising areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
