President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is in Moscow on an official visit, held talks with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin on October 6.
The meeting took place at the Coordination Center of the Russian Government.
Topical issues of the bilateral economic agenda were discussed.
The Head of our state welcomed the successful organization and holding of the Third Forum of Interregional Cooperation, following which documents worth $ 3.5 billion were signed between the regions of the two countries.
Special attention is paid to maintaining the dynamics of trade turnover and expanding cooperation ties. A joint Working Group has been established to effectively coordinate the work on deepening industrial cooperation.
Issues of joint implementation of projects in the field of digitalization of health protection, education, as well as the introduction of e-commerce in Uzbekistan were discussed.
The broad opportunities for further development of practical partnership between the regions of the two countries and its saturation with concrete projects were noted.
An agreement was reached on the organization of the exchange of experience in the field of urban planning, renovation of housing stock.
At the end of the talks, the President of our country invited the Prime Minister of Russia to pay an official visit to our country.
Then the delegation of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the work of the Coordination Center of the Government of Russia. Mikhail Mishustin informed the head of our state in detail about the activities of this permanent body created to ensure prompt and coordinated actions of executive authorities.
