The visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation has begun

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in the city of Kazan, from which the program of the official visit to the Russian Federation begins.

At the Gabdulla Tukai International Airport, the head of our state was met by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov and the Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

In accordance with the program of the visit, a number of events will be held in Kazan today.

High-level meetings will be held in Moscow tomorrow, October 6, during which the leaders of the two countries will discuss issues of further deepening Uzbek-Russian relations and the development of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
