A number of bilateral documents on the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar have been signed

Following the talks between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a signing ceremony of bilateral documents was held.

In particular, the following documents covering various areas of cooperation were signed:

- Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the State of Qatar on cooperation in the field of tourism and business events;

- Memorandum of cooperation between the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar;

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the State of Qatar;

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Investment Agency of the State of Qatar on investment cooperation;

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Office of Administrative Control and Transparency of the State of Qatar.

In addition, the following agreements were concluded during the visit:

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Doha International Center for Interreligious Dialogue;

- Memorandum of understanding between the National Human Rights Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Human Rights Committee of the State of Qatar;

- Agreement on the establishment of a joint business council between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar;

- Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar.
