President of Uzbekistan arrives in Doha

At the invitation of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Doha on a state visit.

A guard of honor was formed at Sheikh Hamad International Airport in honor of the distinguished guest.

The Head of our state was met by the Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdurahman Al Thani and other officials.

In accordance with the program of the state visit, high-level meetings will be held tomorrow, during which the leaders of the two countries will discuss issues of further deepening Uzbek-Qatari relations and the development of multifaceted cooperation, primarily in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Meetings of the President of Uzbekistan with representatives of Qatar's business circles are also planned.
