The President of Uzbekistan and the Federal President of Germany discussed the prospects of bilateral relations

On September 29, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a bilateral meeting with Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Topical issues of the development of Uzbek-German multifaceted relations were considered, primarily in the fields of innovation and technology, "green" economy, alternative energy, transport and logistics, education and culture.

The importance of continuing joint efforts to implement the agreements of productive negotiations held during the high-level visit to Germany in May this year was stressed.

The Presidents also exchanged views on the regional agenda, including the importance of establishing practical cooperation in the "Central Asia -Germany" format.
