On September 20, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his stay in New York City, received Rich Lesser, Chairman of the Boston Consulting Group, and Rza Nuriev, head of the Central Asian and Caspian region of the company, at the residence reserved for him.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of our state noted the active participation of the American consulting company in projects to optimize the management program of large enterprises of Uzbekistan. Last year, the office of "Boston Consulting Group" was opened in Tashkent.
During the conversation, issues of joint development of a long-term comprehensive strategy for the transition to the knowledge economy using the potential of artificial intelligence, an industrial development program, as well as a "master plan" for the development of the energy sector of Uzbekistan were discussed.
The prospects of implementing joint projects to improve the efficiency of working with investors with reference to the development of the regions of Uzbekistan, transformation and privatization of state-owned enterprises and banks, modernization of the digital infrastructure of banks, urban development and expert support for energy projects were also considered.
