President of Uzbekistan arrives in the USA

As previously reported, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the events of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Today, the head of our state arrived in New York City.

At the airport, the distinguished guest was met by New York Mayor Eric Adams, Chairman of the American-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lamm and other officials.

In accordance with the program of stay, on September 19, the head of our state will make a report at the general debate of the plenary session of the United Nations General Assembly and present his vision on topical issues of the regional and global agenda.

On the sidelines of the main international political event of the year, there will also be a summit of leaders of Central Asian countries and the United States of America, a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign states, heads of reputable international organizations and leading American companies.
