The President of Uzbekistan called for further expansion of international cooperation in the field of popularization of ethnosport

On September 8, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of the World Ethnosport Confederation headed by the chairman of this organization, Najmettin Bilal Erdogan.

The sides exchanged views on the further development and popularization of national sports and folk games.

At the beginning of the meeting, Bilal Erdogan conveyed greetings and best wishes of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the leader of Uzbekistan.

Sincere gratitude was also expressed for the support and organization at the highest level of the International Ethnosport Festival, held for the first time in the city of Khiva with the participation of about 2 thousand athletes from more than 60 countries of the world.

During the conversation, issues of deepening cooperation in the development of educational programs, exchange of experience, training of specialists, coaches and referees, broad involvement of young people in ethnosport based on the "roadmap" were discussed.
