President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of proposals for employment in the Bukhara region.
During his trips to the regions, the Head of State pays priority attention to the issue of unemployment and designates the reduction of its level as the main task facing the leaders. Targeted employment programs are being implemented in all regions today.
Currently, there are more than 1 million able-bodied people in the Bukhara region, 76 thousand of them are unemployed. About 37 thousand young people come to the labor market every year. With this in mind, it is planned to completely eliminate unemployment in the Bukhara region in 2023-2025.
There are all possibilities for this. For example, there are 11 cotton-textile and grain-growing clusters in Bukhara, they plan to create 94 thousand jobs in industry and agriculture, including 19 thousand due to the development of home work.
It is planned to open 57 microcenters in the field of industry, handicrafts, home-based, livestock, trade and service in the mahallas, it is planned to organize small sewing workshops in 98 mahallas with a high unemployment rate.
The possibility of putting 15 thousand hectares of acreage into circulation this year was noted. These lands will be provided to the population for the creation of new dehkan farms through an open electronic competition. Proposals have also been put forward to auction state assets and create jobs on their basis.
It was emphasized that in general, as a result of these measures, 250 thousand jobs will be created this year, in 2023-2025 the Bukhara region will become a region in which employment is fully provided.
During the presentation, information was also provided about the project of organizing an IT cluster in the Karakul district together with India.
The Head of State approved the proposals and gave additional instructions.
