The Head of our state visited secondary school No. 32 in the Akdarya district of the Samarkand region.
The Constitution of our country enshrines the construction of a social state in Uzbekistan. In accordance with this, priority attention is paid to the field of education. Along with the construction of new educational institutions, great importance is attached to improving the content of education.
Major repairs were carried out at School No. 32 this year. The school is designed for 782 students. Modern conditions have been created in 22 classrooms, a gym, a canteen, a STEM laboratory, and computer science classrooms. The library has collected more than 1.5 thousand art books.
As you know, teaching young people at least two foreign languages and one modern profession is defined as the main direction of reforms in school education. Additional premises have been constructed from lightweight structures on the unused school grounds and conditions have been created for teaching 15 different professions. In them, students receive basic skills in IT, maintenance, weaving, hairdressing, cosmetology, pottery, wood carving.
The President visited these classes, talked with children participating in summer clubs.
- We are expanding the coverage of higher education. But not everyone chooses to study at the university. Therefore, we have set a goal to make sure that our children start learning foreign languages and professions from school. A person who has mastered at least one profession will not be lost. He can continue to work on himself and improve his skills. Therefore, our goal is to create decent conditions for every young person," the head of state said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also talked with teachers and labor veterans.
