President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the Samarkand region on August 24.

The head of our state first visited the mausoleum of Imam Bukhari in the Payaryk district. Surahs from the Koran and dua were read.

It was noted that in Samarkand it is necessary to form a similar Bukhara model of Islamic enlightenment. The instruction is given to strengthen the work on protecting young people from alien ideas, the fight against ignorance through education using the heritage of scientists of the past.
