On the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to this country on August 22-23.

The program of the stay provides for high-level negotiations and other events with the participation of the leaders of the two countries. 

The agenda includes issues of further deepening of the Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and expansion of practical cooperation in priority areas.

As a result of the negotiations, it is planned to adopt a package of bilateral agreements.
