The President visited the mahalla in Romitan

The Head of our state visited the mahalla of Kahramon in the Romitan district and got acquainted with the living conditions of the population. 

About 3.9 thousand people live here. The growth points of the mahalla are handicraft and greenhouse farming. Vegetable crops in demand on the market are grown in greenhouses covering 200 hectares. Furniture production, sewing and gold sewing are also well developed. 

The President visited local residents Khalil Kobilov and Gulbakhor Tukhtaeva. Neighbors and representatives of the older generation gathered in their yard, a sincere conversation took place.

The Chairman of the mahalla spoke about the ongoing changes and people's lives. 

There are more than ten shops, sewing workshops, hotels and restaurants in the mahalla, where young people work. In general, there is no unemployment here and not a single crime has been committed for a long time. 

The infrastructure has been improved within the framework of the Rim Mahalla program. Paved roads, sidewalks were built. A transformer has been installed, the power grids have been updated.

- What gives strength to people? To feel the results of reforms in your life. It is with this feeling that our compatriots look to the future today. Our people have shown us high confidence. Expects new changes, new initiatives. This is a very big responsibility," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.

At the meeting, representatives of the older generation shared their suggestions regarding the education of young people, the development of the district.
