The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discussed the development of practical cooperation

Issues of further development of Uzbek-Turkmen practical cooperation were discussed during a telephone conversation between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held on July 24.

The President of Turkmenistan warmly congratulated the head of our state on his birthday, sincerely wishing health and great success, well-being and prosperity to the fraternal people of Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of increasing the volume of mutual trade and promoting cooperation projects in priority sectors of the economy, including industry, energy, agriculture, transport and other important areas.

The first results of joint work on the creation of the border free trade zone "Shavat–Dashaguz" were emphasized with great satisfaction.
