At the invitation of the Minister of the two shrines – King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit the city of Jeddah on July 18-19 this year to participate in the first Summit of heads of state in the format "Central Asia – Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf".
The upcoming summit is expected to be attended by the leaders of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as the Secretary General of the Council.
In accordance with the agenda, the issues of development of interregional cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres will be considered. There will be an exchange of views on topical aspects of international and regional policy.
A number of bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the summit.
