Issues of further development of full-scale cooperation, implementation of major investment projects with the participation of leading Emirati companies were discussed during a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour Al-Nahyan.

Sheikh Mansour Al-Nahyan cordially congratulated the head of Uzbekistan on his convincing victory in the last elections, sincerely wishing well-being and prosperity to the Uzbek people.

He also conveyed congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Muhammad Al-Nahyan.

Topical issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed. The high dynamics of trade turnover growth, the increase in the number of joint ventures and flights carried out between the two countries were noted with satisfaction.

Currently, the portfolio of investment projects exceeds $ 4 billion and covers such areas as green energy, agriculture, transport and logistics, tourism infrastructure and other industries.

The Emirati side also provides technical assistance in the implementation of socially significant programs on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, the importance of continuing an active dialogue at the highest level, promoting major projects of trade, economic, investment, financial and humanitarian cooperation was emphasized.
