President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Russian leader cordially congratulated the head of our state on his convincing victory in the elections.
It was particularly noted that the results of the vote once again demonstrated broad popular support for the ongoing course of large-scale transformations in Uzbekistan aimed at further dynamic development of the country, strengthening its international authority, protecting the rights and interests of citizens.
During the conversation, topical issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed.
The leaders separately focused on the issues of expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, maintaining the dynamics of trade turnover and promoting industrial cooperation projects.
The Heads of state called for further development of cooperation at the level of business and regions, continuation of active humanitarian exchange.
There was also an exchange of views on topical issues of the regional agenda.
