The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey noted the importance of careful preparation of the agenda of the Strategic Cooperation Council

The need for joint comprehensive preparation of the upcoming meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council at the highest level was discussed during a telephone conversation between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the beginning, the Turkish President warmly congratulated the head of our state on his confident victory in the early presidential elections, noting the high turnout at the vote and the broad support of the population for the ongoing reforms in the New Uzbekistan.

The highest level of Uzbek-Turkish relations of in-depth strategic partnership achieved in recent years was noted with deep satisfaction.

Special attention was paid to the further continuation of active contacts and exchanges, increasing the volume of mutual trade, facilitating the implementation of important investment projects and humanitarian programs.
