The President of Uzbekistan will take part in the SCO summit

On July 4, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, will take part in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held in the format of a videoconference.

In accordance with the agenda of the summit, topical issues of further deepening of multifaceted cooperation within the SCO, expansion and improvement of the Organization's activities will be considered.

It is envisaged that following the meeting, the SCO heads of state will take a number of decisions in the field of economic cooperation, digital transformation, ensuring regional security, as well as in the cultural and humanitarian sphere and other priority areas.
