The President of Uzbekistan visited the exhibition of scientific and technical achievements of Iran

As part of an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited a specialized exhibition of innovations and technologies, which opened in Tehran.

The Head of State was accompanied by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials.

The exhibition presented the products of large scientific and production companies of Iran in the field of high technologies and innovations, mechanical engineering, instrumentation, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, modern building materials, textile industry.  

The leader of Uzbekistan inspected their exhibition stands. Representatives of the Iranian industry demonstrated their latest developments in the production of various turbines, medicines and their ingredients, medical equipment, oil catalysts and artificial textiles.

The head of our state talked with the heads of companies, got acquainted with the presentations of new technologies. Following the results of the visit to the exhibition, the responsible persons of the Uzbek side were instructed to explore the possibilities of creating joint productions for the production of products with high added value, the implementation of pilot projects for the introduction of Iranian technologies and innovative solutions in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that a branch of the Iranian House of Innovation and Technology (IHIT) was opened in Tashkent. Its activities will contribute to the development of mutually beneficial and fruitful cooperation between the two countries in the field of innovative technologies and transfer of scientific developments.
