A package of documents aimed at further development of comprehensive Uzbek-Iranian cooperation has been adopted

At the end of the negotiations at the highest level, the signing ceremony of bilateral documents took place.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi signed a joint statement on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, 15 documents were adopted at the level of governments, departments and regions during the visit.

These include an Agreement between the governments on preferential trade, a cooperation program between the Technical Regulation Agency of Uzbekistan and the National Standard Organization of Iran, an Action Plan for cooperation in the field of technology and innovation.

Memorandums of cooperation have been adopted in the field of creating joint free economic zones, pharmaceuticals, transport and transit.

A Plan of joint measures in the field of sports, a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of dispute resolution and arbitration, an Optional agreement on cooperation in the field of reinsurance and other documents were also signed.
