The official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Italy has ended

The rich program of the historic visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Italian Republic has ended.

The Head of State held fruitful talks in Rome with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. A joint declaration on the establishment of strategic partnership relations between the two countries was adopted.

There was also a meeting with the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Qu Dongyu.

The visit continued with business events in Milan. Here the President received the Governor of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, held a round table with representatives of big business in Italy, and also visited an exhibition of textile machinery.

At the end of the visit at Milan's Malpensa airport, the head of our state was conducted by the Governor of the Lombardy region Attilio Fontana and other officials. The President left for Tashkent.
