The ceremony of the official meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place

Today, on June 8, the official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is making an official visit to this country, took place at the residence of the President of the Italian Republic – the Quirinal Palace in Rome.

An honor guard and a detachment of mounted cuirassiers were lined up on the square in honor of the distinguished guest. The flags of Italy, Uzbekistan and the European Union were raised on the tower of the Quirinal Palace.

The Head of our state was met by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.

The military band performed the national anthems of the two countries.

The head of the Guard of Honor gave a report to the head of our state.

The Presidents walked around the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.

After the joint photographing, the bilateral meeting of the heads of state began.
