A landmark event that opened a new page in Uzbek-Qatari relations

The state visit of the Emir of Qatar to Uzbekistan has ended.

On the eve of the two heads of state visited the sights of Samarkand. Today we held fruitful negotiations, during which we outlined priorities and promising areas for the development of multifaceted cooperation, and agreed to bring bilateral relations to a new level.

At the end of the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani warmly said goodbye to each other.

At the Samarkand International Airport, the distinguished guest was conducted by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov.
