The President of Singapore arrived in Tashkent

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on May 23, the President of the Republic of Singapore Halima Yakub arrived in our country on a state visit.

The national flags of the two countries were raised at the capital's airport in honor of the distinguished guest and an honor guard was lined up.

The President of Singapore and her spouse were met by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Z.Makhkamova, Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Saidov and acting Khokim of Tashkent Sh.Umurzakov.

The distinguished guest and members of the Singapore delegation visited the Yangi Uzbekistan Park, where they laid flowers at the Independence Monument, got acquainted with the history of the independent development of our country and the creation of this unique complex, and also met with representatives of national cultural centers.
