The traditional flower festival in Namangan began on May 22 with a parade of unusually decorated vehicles.
More than 200 cars and motorcycles, decorated with colorful flowers in the form of ornaments, drove through the streets of the regional center.
Within the framework of the international festival in the park named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur on an area of 8 hectares, 250 master florists from the regions of our country, as well as from 22 foreign countries, representatives of the art of ikebana, landscape designers will demonstrate their art of floriculture these days.
In preparation for the festival, 16 million flowers of 300 species were planted.
Following the results of the festival, companies and florists will be awarded in 12 nominations.
Recall that the Namangan Flower Festival has been held since 1961 and is a grand event for every Uzbek, reflecting the richness of colors of available plants and flower culture.
The festival will last until June 5.
