On November 4, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the second World Summit on Social Development, held in Doha.

At the invitation of the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on November 3 President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed to this country on a working visit. 

On November 3, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation on improving medical care for children with rare diseases, reform process and implementation of new projects in the sphere of pharmaceuticals. 

On November 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed proposals on protecting the nation’s gene pool from drug addiction, enhancing the effectiveness of the fight against cybercrime, and digitalizing the system of prosecutorial oversight.

The declaration of independence and the commitment of the Government of Uzbekistan to the ideals of democracy, the choice of a secular path of development of society have gradually made it possible to create equal legal conditions for the existence of religions in general and religious groups in particular.

In recent years, relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United States of America in the field of tourism have reached a qualitatively new level. The foundation of this cooperation lies in the systematic efforts of the Tourism Committee to implement the provisions of the “Road Maps” aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, expanding tourism exchanges, and attracting American investment into the sector.

In recent years, the Republic of Uzbekistan has undertaken large-scale reforms aimed at establishing a systematic, safe, and human-centered approach to labor migration management. These efforts not only ensure the legal employment of citizens abroad but also aim to enhance their knowledge, professional qualifications, and access to decent work opportunities.
