On March 20, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan for the entire Muslim Ummah and the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, a bright holiday embodying the high values of spiritual purification, strengthening of faith, mercy, compassion, brotherhood, and unity, congratulatory messages are being sent to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev from foreign leaders, heads of government, leaders of major international and regional organizations, as well as prominent religious and public figures.

On March 19, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the mausoleum of Uzbekistan’s First President Islam Karimov, at the Hazrati Khizr complex in Samarkand.

On the second day of his visit to Samarkand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed ongoing development work at the Imam Maturidi memorial complex.

Cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are among the key factors bringing the two countries closer together. This cooperation continues to strengthen the historical, spiritual, and cultural affinity between the two peoples. In recent years, collaboration in the cultural sphere has entered a new phase and become more active through a growing number of festivals, concerts, film events, and theatre tours.
