In New Uzbekistan, the rights of citizens are protected by the Constitution

Currently, more than 80 international human rights and freedom documents ratified by Uzbekistan are incorporated into national legislation. In June 2020, the country adopted its first National Human Rights Strategy, which is being implemented consistently.
