Events organized within the framework of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization are continuing in the capital.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Decree “On measures to strengthen material support and incentives for employees of medical institutions”.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is one of the authoritative international structures that unites hundreds of millions of representatives of different nations and nationalities in its space. The goals and objectives of the SCO are aimed at ensuring peace and stability, sustainable development and multiplying the rich common culture of the participating countries. Over its more than twenty-year history, the organization has made a huge contribution to strengthening the world order by assisting in the rapprochement of states in various areas of activity.

On May 16-20, 2022, an international forum "Dialogue of Declarations" is being held in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, which is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies (ISMI) under the President of Uzbekistan jointly with the Institute for Global Engagement (USA) with the support of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the International Islamic Academy, the Academy of state administration and khokimiyats of Samarkand and Bukhara regions.

On April 8 of this year, the President of the country, while familiarizing himself with the activities of the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, said: "In recent years we have been through difficult trials. But the work did not stop here. Why are we building this? To broaden the horizons, to strengthen the pride of our people, to show on material evidence what a great nation we are." 

The results of the survey of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms showed that in April this year, in the sectoral context of the consolidated indicator of the business climate in agriculture, a significant increase was noted (+10 points compared to March this year). At the same time, the indicator of the current state of business in agriculture increased by 10 points, and the most noticeable growth (+11 points) of the waiting indicator is also observed in agriculture. Thus, it is the agriculture sector that shows the most resistant to risks and shocks, and the reforms carried out by the government in the industry increase its productivity, experts say.
