At the conclusion of the 42nd session of the UNESCO General Conference, held in Paris from 7 to 22 November 2023, a historic decision was adopted to convene the next session—the 43rd session—in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, in 2025.

Uzbekistan is driving sweeping reforms in its education system — one of the key priorities of the “New Uzbekistan” Development Strategy. 

The 13th International Exhibition Aquatherm® Tashkent 2025 – the leading industry event in Uzbekistan for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Water Supply, Sanitary Systems, Swimming Pools, Environmental Technologies, and Renewable Energy - will take place from October 7 to 9, 2025, at the Uzexpocentre NEC.

Under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev an expanded meeting was held dedicated to cotton harvesting, preparations for the autumn-winter season, execution of the indicators of investment and export, as well as implementation of the nationwide Yashil Makon project.

On September 24, at the conclusion of the working visit to the United States, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, following a good tradition, met with the Uzbek community members working and living in this country, as well as with “El-Yurt Umidi” foundation fellows studying at leading American universities.
