From September 16 to 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the activities of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. On September 19, the head of our state delivered a speech during the general debate of the plenary session of the General Assembly, in which he presented his vision on pertinent regional and global agenda items.

As part of the program of the state visit to Qatar, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the opening ceremony of the World Exhibition "EXPO Doha – 2023".

On October 2, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani, former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, founder of a number of large investment and industrial holdings of the country, at his residence in Doha.

Following the talks between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, a signing ceremony of bilateral documents was held.

On October 2, negotiations between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with the participation of official delegations of the two countries took place at the Amiri Diwan complex in Doha.

A solemn ceremony of the official meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who is in Qatar on a state visit, was held at the Amiri Divan complex in Doha.

On October 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Chairman of the Board of Power International Holding Moutaz al-Hayat at his residence in Doha.
