The service sector is experiencing a steady growth trend in the contemporary world. Countries with economies centred around services are regarded as more developed than those with industrial or agricultural economies. In advanced countries, services account for more than half of the GDP and more than 80% of skilled workers and highly qualified personnel work in this sector.
