On November 8, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Khusrav Noziri.

A draft law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2024" and a Budget message were submitted to the committees of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on October 31 this year. The draft State Budget for 2024 and the budget goals for 2025-2026 were developed based on the forecast of the main macroeconomic indicators. 

On November 7, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the former Prime Minister of the State of Qatar, the founder of a number of large investment and industrial holdings of the country Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani.

For the first time in history, the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan

On November 8-9, the sixteenth summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) will be held in Tashkent under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Last year, after a wide public discussion, the Strategy for the Development of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 was adopted, which became the main program document for the next few years. The main vector is towards building a state by elevating the honor and dignity of a person, developing a free civil society, providing broad and targeted social support to the population, expanding the participation of the people in the decision-making process. Thus, the interaction of society with the authorities has entered a new stage of development.         

Created in 2017 on the initiative of the head of our state, the IT Park today plays an important role in the accelerated development of the IT sector of our country. Seven years ago, the IT sector was practically alien to Uzbekistan. Over the past short time, this field of information technology has become one of the leading. New Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive location for foreign countries.
