The eventful program of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has concluded.

A ceremony was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr residence to present the Order of Nishan-e-Pakistan (Mark of Pakistan) to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

As part of the state visit to Islamabad, a meeting was held between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr residence, in both narrow format and with the participation of official delegations.

As part of the business program of the state visit, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Ahsan Zafar Syed, chairman of the Engro Group.

As part of the ongoing Uzbekistan-Pakistan business forum in Islamabad, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Zahid Rafiq, chairman of the HRL Group.

As part of the business program of his state visit to Islamabad, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Gohar Mustafa, founder of Gohar Textile.

On the sidelines of the Uzbekistan–Pakistan business forum in Islamabad, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Dur Muhammad Ayub, Chief Executive Officer of Go Group.

On February 6, as part of the business program of the state visit to Islamabad, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, took part in a joint business forum.

Following the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council held in Islamabad, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif delivered statements to media representatives.
