Issues of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation in the consular-legal sphere were discussed in Beijing

A meeting was held between representatives of the embassy of Uzbekistan and the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

The dialogue discussed a wide range of issues regarding bilateral cooperation with Tun Xueszyun, Deputy Director General of the Chinese TIV Consular Department.

On the issues of visa policy of the Chinese side, protection of rights and interests of citizens of both countries and further strengthening of the contractual and legal framework for this area between Uzbekistan and China were exchanged.

Representatives of the host country have been told in detail about the development of the tourism front in Uzbekistan in recent years, the favorable conditions created for entrepreneurship, business and foreign investors.

It was noted that the government of our country considers the liberalization of the visa system between Uzbekistan and other countries of the world as a priority issue, and the positive results achieved in this regard were noted.

In particular, it was announced that citizens of 91 foreign countries are currently granted visa-free access to Uzbekistan, and citizens of 56 countries are able to obtain an electronic visa to enter our country.

For the Uzbek side, it was noted that in the future it will remain one of the priorities for the consistent development of the tourism industry by reaching agreements with foreign countries on further liberalization of visa procedures, in particular, mutual exemption from visa requirements.

At the end of the event, the parties agreed to continue regular dialogue to further strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.
